We are incredibly saddened to report that the bus shelter on Holme Lane opposite Bridge Road has been vandalised on the evening of the 20th of July or the early hours of the 21st July 2026.

Replacing shattered glass and repairing the damage comes at considerable cost to the Parish Council. As our funding comes directly from the precept part of your council tax, money that could have been allocated to vital community projects is instead being diverted to fix unnecessary damage.

This matter has been reported to the police.

Vandalisim is a criminal offence.

We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has relevant CCTV footage to come forward.
