North Yorkshire Council will be undertaking maintenance of Holme Beck Path masonry retaining wall. The planned works comprise of the removal of vegetation damaging the wall in preparation for comprehensive maintenance and rebuild works later in the year.

 The works are currently programmed to commence on 16/02/2026 during the school half-term and will be carried out under full footpath closure for a period of up to 5 days. The extents of the closure and diversion are shown on the plan below.

 Advance warning signage advising of the works will be installed on site shortly. Whilst the works are in progress, a fully signed diversion will be in place.
