Sutton in Craven Parish Council would like to give a huge THANK YOU to the Pavilion Jubilee Tearoom Staff for all their hard work and in particular all the extra voluntary hours they do especially on a Sunday supporting the community and groups in the village including the Bowling Club and Football Club.

We are incredibly saddened to report that the bus shelter on Holme Lane opposite Bridge Road has been vandalised on the evening of the 20th of July or the early hours of the 21st July 2026.
Replacing shattered glass and repairing the damage comes at considerable cost to the Parish Council. As our funding comes directly from the precept part of your council tax, money that could have been allocated to vital community projects is instead being diverted to fix unnecessary damage.
This matter has been reported to the police.
Vandalisim is a criminal offence.
We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has relevant CCTV footage to come forward.
